The cleaver knife is exceptionally popular among our Far Eastern friends and backers. A cleaver is very much a versatile kitchen tool, but it excels at chopping. It can adapt to all your cutting needs.

The magnum chef knife has been specifically requested by many of our American backers who truly believe bigger is better. It will not fit in the Black Diamond knife block, but will easily fit into any piece of meat, vegetable or fish you can get through the kitchen door.

"Santoku" translates to "three virtues". This refers to the three actions the knife was designed for. The sharp edge enables quick dicing, its air scallops allow for smooth slicing while the flat blade enables effortless mincing.
