Our Tasekiso blades cosist of 67 layers of Japanese high carbon steel with a VG-10 steel core. They resemble old Damascined blades and are in short called "Damascus".

The multi-layered steel is from the Takefu Special Steel Factory and retain sharpness for longer than most steel knives.
